FrequentlyAsked

How can I pay for my unit?
You can order online with your credit card through paypal. Or if you would like to speak to someone in person, call us at (800) 359-1458 and we'll take your credit card over the phone. We also accept money orders and cash.

How long will it take to receive my unit?
If your unit is not a pre-order or if it is not backordered, you can do either:

  • If you are in the area, you can pick up your unit the same day if you have ordered before noon. If you have ordered after noon, you can pick up your unit the following day.
  • If we need to ship your unit, it takes us about a day or two to get the shipping company lined up. Your unit should arrive in 5-7 business days, depending on your location.

What happens if my unit is damaged during shipping?
Check your crate for damage before the driver leaves. Mark the bill of lading if you see damage. It is highly unlikely that your unit will get damaged during shipping because it will be packed very well, however accidents can happen so we insure each shipment for at least the replacement value and shipping cost. If your unit arrives damaged, call the shipping company immediately. We will assist you in filing a claim. Before shipping out our units to customers, we check for any damages. We do not ship damaged crates, so if your crate has any damage, the shipping company that delivered your unit is responsible.

Does MotoXtremes carry warranty on their products?
We offer a limited warranty on all of our products. The warranty will only cover manufacture defects. Common wear and tear parts are not included in this warranty. The details are in our terms and conditions page.

We handle the warranty claims out of our office in Oregon.

Why is MotoXtremes able to sell their units for less than others?
Simple: Volume. We sell a lot of units every week, so we have worked out a deal with a few factories to manufacture these units for us in large quantities. Being the direct manufacture has allowed us to control the price. It has also allowed us to sell our units for less because we don't need to make as much profit on each customer, instead making our profit over a large number of customers.

Does MotoXtremes sale wholesale?
Yes! That's mainly what we do. For more information, please contact us at (800) 359-1458.

Is MotoXtremes just an online business or is there a real retail storefront?
Unlike most Internet companies, we do have a storefront as well as a distribution warehouse. Our parts and stock warehouse, tech department office, sales department, and retail store is located in Portland, Oregon.

How fast do the pocket bikes go?
For the 49cc engines, it depends on the riders weight, the wind, and road conditions. In most cases, after the unit has been broken in, you can expect approximately 30-35 mph.

Is it hard to assemble the units?
Most of our units come 99% assembled, just tighten up the bolts and chain. But the prep is what makes the units run well and last. We recommend having a mechanic tune and start the unit after you uncrate it.

Why do the pocket bikes have a 2-stroke engine instead of 4-stroke engine?
In most cases, a 2-stroke engine will be the perfect engine for the pocket bike. It has more power and more top speed. All of our pocket bikes will come with instructions on how to mix the fuel and the 2-stroke oil.

What type of 2-stroke oil should be used in 2-stroke oil injected motors?
Please do NOT use "Premix" type oil in oil-injected motors! Premix oil tends to deteriorate the rubber components in an oil injector system causing them to leak. There are a number of different brands of 2-stroke oil on the market, and some of them can be used either as "Premix" oil or "Injector" oil. Just make sure that the oil you use is suitable for use in Oil Injected Motors. This information should be on the container, but if you have any doubts, asknah the sales person where you purchase your 2-stroke oil.

Does MotoXtremes carry spare parts for their units?
We carry the more common replacement parts for our units. Our parts department has most parts in stock, but if you need something else, we'll try to get it for you. We want to make sure our customers are taken care of, so our customers have priority on our parts inventory!
